How it all began...
Quantum was born in 1971 as a manufacturer of musical instrument amplification. and became a retailer of quality Hifi products in 1973.

We moved to our inner city corner premises in 1976.

We have been offering specialist products and services for all of our 36 year history.

We have been providing a custom installation service since 1993 and today offer clients the opportunity to integrate audio and vision into their homes with the emphasis on aesthetics and ease of use.

Quantum also offers commercial custom installion for small business AV solutions for bars, restaurants, boutiques and professional rooms.

The people at Quantum are musicians and movie enthusiasts who also enjoy the two channel stereo ‘rebirth’ with great sounding gear on demo for music, iPod and movie solutions.

Rob MacFie
Has owned Quantum since 1971 and has a depth of knowledge and insight as to what is ‘best’ for his clients. Rob is a musician, playing bass, keyboards and guitar.

Rob's philosophy is:
