How it all began...
In 1971 Quantum started life as a manufacturer of musical instrument amplification. and became a retailer of quality Hifi products in 1973.

Quantum has been offering specialist products and services for 40 years and today have the very best in sound and vision.

We have been providing a custom installation service since 1993 and today offer clients the opportunity to integrate audio and vision into their homes with the emphasis on aesthetics and ease of use.
The people at Quantum are musicians and movie enthusiasts who love music and home entertainment.

We moved to our inner city cornerpremises in 1976. Today our showrooms include our Hifi demonstration room featuring Bowers & Wilkins, Bose and Martin Logan speakers; a newly renovated Loewe television display area with exciting Loewe vision and Bose Audio solutions. And our recently upgraded unique home automation and Cinema Room with a 130 year old sandstone feature wall. 

Rob MacFie
Has owned Quantum since 1971 and has a depth of knowledge and insight as to what is best for his clients. Rob is a musician, playing bass, keyboards and guitar.

(Left) Rob MacFie proudly shows of a 40 year old Quantum built amplifier that recently turned up is mint condition. After replacing a broken fuse holder and a few tweeks the amp leapt into life with heaps of grunt and a surprisingly contemporary sound given the age of the amplifier when Rob plugged in a Fender Tele.
