Cambridge: real HiIFi

Hi-fi expert Cambridge Audio has expanded ts award winning Azur hi-fi range with a new midrange 740 series.

The 740 series comprises the 740A amp and 740C CD player, both using technology from the quite brilliant flagship 840 series. The 740A puts out an impressive 100W RMS into
8 Ohms and boasts two pairs of output transistors per channel.

The 740C CD player also borrows the innards from the 840 series, with the same upsampling technology found in the in the 840C, and marries this to dual Wolfson WM8740 24-bit DACs.
